Mood

I've gotten a little farther in the book, the kids attempt to pull the prank but they fail. They scared Carlos so much that he started screaming and shaking, for some weird reason he even started scratching himself. Carlos is scared of Aliens but he claims that he talks to them. So the kids decided to pretend that they were aliens and scare him. But their plan didn't go so well, Carlos panicked way more than expected to. As I was reading this it kind of got me mad because why would they even bother to pick on the kid, they should've just left him alone. I was feeling a lot of sympathy for Carlos.

Emotions

The book Carlos is gonna get it causes me to feel a little bad for Carlos. He can't control himself, he has some problems and some kids just don't understand that. Like maybe if they didn't pull a huge prank on him and just talked to him or complained to a teacher about it, they would've resolved the problems.

Carlos is Gonna Get It (foreshadowing)

I'm towards the end of the book, In the middle of the book she was kind of friends with Carlos, she was starting to help him out and talk to him a little. But now it's a little more towards the end of the book ,she starts ignoring him because her friends make fun of her. I believe that when it comes to the time when they decide to prank him, Trina will defend him or back out of the prank.

Carlos is Gonna get it (Exposition)

The main characters in the book are, Trina, Sara, Thea, Frankie, Donte, and the really weird kid Carlos. The group of friends get along pretty well and they are pretty popular. They are getting very tired of this kid in their class named Carlos, Carlos can cause a lot of trouble but his actions cause others to get in trouble instead of him. This has been going on for over a year now. They're now in 7th grade and they want to get Carlos back for all the trouble he's been causing them. So far this book has been written in kind of an angry tone but also a bit confused tone because it's from Trina's point of view and she is bothered by Carlos but she also doesn't really care and sometimes sees him as a regular kid.

Carlos Is Gonna Get It By: Kevin Emerson

I know that the book is about this some what popular girl named Trina not wanting to talk to this really weird kid Carlos because she knows she will lose most of her friends.  The thing is, that she starts talking to him and notices that he's not so bad after all. But all of her friends are tired of him so they want to pull this huge prank on him to get him back. That's why the title of the book is  "Carlos is gonna get it"The only problem is that Trina isn't so sure if she wants to go along with the plan.

From what I've read so far, Trina seeme to care more about her popularity. Yes, she's starting to talk to Carlos but I feel like she has a lot of peer pressure so I'm going to take a guess and say that at the end she will go through with her and her friends plans and prank Carlos.

mutations blog

I learned that the majority of mutations are bad, very few are good. The most interesting mutation I learned about was the 2 headed turtles because that seems really cool.I don't like sketchniting because I feel like it takes more work, and I learn more from basic notes. Nextime I would try to add more drawings.
